What is NEST?

Nurture · Educate · Sense · Thrive

These four principles guide everything we are creating.

What is Nest?

An inclusive wellbeing and therapeutic space

NEST is an inclusive wellbeing and therapeutic space in Clonoe, created for children, young people, adults and families.

Our guiding principles

Our thoughtfully designed rooms provide opportunities for sensory relaxation, movement, connection, learning and play. People can use the spaces privately as a family, attend a class or programme, or access services delivered by independent practitioners.

Nurture

Providing welcoming spaces where people feel safe, respected and supported.

Educate

Helping individuals and families develop practical knowledge and strategies they can use in everyday life.

Sense

Supporting people to explore movement, sensory experiences and the different ways their bodies respond to the world around them.

Thrive

Creating opportunities for confidence, connection, participation and greater wellbeing.

NEST brings together specially designed spaces, family sessions, educational activities, wellbeing programmes and access to independent practitioners — all within one supportive environment. NEST is designed to support people with a wide range of needs and abilities. A diagnosis is not required to use our spaces, and NEST is not only for people with additional or special educational needs. Everyone can benefit from having a safe, welcoming place to slow down, move, understand their needs and feel more regulated.

Nurtured Here. Thriving Everywhere.
